*Consumer Comment: SO what is your problem?
I went in to see what my "you hit the jackpot" prize. They asked me before anything if I wanted to buy a car. I told them no.
They said,"you just want your prize?" I said yes. They said,"you won a $1000.00 internet shopping spree!" I said WOW! That's great! They all just looked around at each other like, Oh we have another sucker!
The guy handed me a brochure from selectyourgifts.com and said,"We just ask that if you are looking for a car to please think of us!"

SO what is your problem?

It sounds as though the saleman/people acted 100% legitimately, politely, etc.
What exactly is your complaint???
So you probably got some junk mail stating the dealership was having a prize giveaway of sorts (which they do to drum up business on the lot). Greedily, and knowing you had zero intention of even considering a vehicle purchase, you zoom on over to the dealership for your prize. Then you don't "like" your prize? And now you complain about the FREE PRIZE??? What is the matter with you? IS THAT your complaint???
I just went to selectyourgifts.com, and STILL don't have a clue what the problem is. Even if the website is some sort of over-priced prize "selling" site or whatever (which I have no idea- I couldn't log into it...) then you didn't win anything- BIG DEAL! GET OVER IT- DON'T USE THE GIFT CERTIFICATE!
I think what you wrote is harrassing, overdone and negligent against that dealership. If I am missing something, let us know?? Your report is quite vague, to say the least.
