Kirby Vacuum, Jones And Associates Door to Door Sales Man a Liar and Owner No Better Ripoff Bartonville Illinois

In January of 2006, a door to door sales man was welcomed into our home. I'm a single diabled mother and live with my retired father. After numerous times of telling this young man that we could in no way afford a $2,347.20 vacuum, he assured us that we could try the vacuum for 3 months and return it if we found we could not afford it. The return date he gave us was April 16, 2006. After searching the phone book, the internet and various other places I could not find their number. Finally called information where I was at last given a phone number. Today (March 30, 2006) the owner, Tony, returned my call. He said to look at the contract we signed and that he would not accept the vacuum back. He said that he did not believe that the salesman told us this and that we only had 3 days after singing the contract to return it. In other words I'm a liar. I then told him specifically what the sales man had said (Matthew Henson) and he told me I must not have understood him. I then heard him talking to Matthew in the back ground. Matthew denied ever telling us that we had 3 months to return the vacuum. Who is the liar? I then told him that we would be turning his business into the better business bureau and that I would tell every one I know about him. His reply was that if we did not pay the finance company would come down on us and that we would probably owe $6,000.00 from the cost of the vacuum plus court costs and lawyers fees. Never do business with Tony of Jones and Associates, and never let Matthew Henson into your home. They are liars after the almighty dollar.
