I was in search of a type of cabinet hinge made by Amerock. The part number is BP7550FB. I entered the number into the search box at Knobs4less.com. It showed the hinges and listed them at $4.72 per pair. I purchased 20 sets of hinges at that price. I then was poking around at the same site and came across the exact same hinges, only this time in an "overstock" listing, where the price was $3.55 per pair!

I contacted the company by phone, only to be told that it wasn't their fault, and they would not credit me for the difference in price.

I also had asked about this prior to ordering items. They do have items in overstock that are offered at a cheaper price but this is because the items under "overstock" are items that were returned by customers. They offer them at a cheaper price because they cannot guarantee that they were not returned due to minor issues such as color differences, scratches, etc. They are listed at a cheaper price but you are basically taking a risk in ordering them.
