Kriser's Natural Petcare Negligent Pet Care Irvine California

The defensiveness and lack of empathy shown by Kriser's staff, after what already proved to be a less-than-adequate job, shows the exact professionalism (or rather lack thereof) this company has.

To better explain, we took our seven year-old dog to Kriser's Natural Petcare to get groomed last Friday.  The grooming services we requested were a bath, nail clipping, and teeth cleaning.  After picking him up from the groomers, we noticed a decline in his health.  His appetite decreased to the point that two days later, he would not even eat his treats (very unlike him). He could not drink water let alone open his mouth and by Sunday he could barely walk.

We are aware that grooming can be a somewhat traumatic experience for any dog.  Yet, the fact that our dog's demeanor changed so drastically within a few days of being groomed (he had not gone anywhere else besides the groomers) raised our suspicions of the actual care and attention given to our loved animal.  

Of course, after seeing our dog at the point of barely walking and eating, we took him back to the groomers to find out any information that could explain his drastic change of health.  Kriser's receptionist, while at first friendly, quickly became defensive when we brought up our concerns.  She stated it had nothing to do with the services they provided and seemed eager to dismiss us before nearby customers became aware of our conversation.

Seeing that Kriser's staff was unwilling and apathetic towards our dog, we decided to take him to the vet.  Long story short, our precious long-time companion had to be put down.  If that was not enough, we were soon contacted by animal control who notified us that Kriser's receptionist filed a complaint against us.  After their investigation, animal control saw no basis for the complaint and closed the case, advising that civil action was an option we could take.  

I highly recommend that no individual take their animal to Kriser's Natural Petcare.  It is not worth the loss of an animal, as we sadly are having to deal with now.  Please do not take your animals here!
