Geez I can't believe this guy is still ripping people off! If only I'd googled him sooner. Long story short I got took for a deposit of $250 on 2 burning man tickets in April of 2015. Just found all this info online about his previous scams but I also found his court records, PO officers #, what I believe his actual cell number to be ( going to call in the AM) and where he works. Needless to say a lot of people will be getting calls from me tomorrow. Kris will either refund me or I will file charges against him and I recommend all of you do the same! Luckily I live in the same town as Mr Walters and don't give up easily.

Kris was obviously monitoring this site because after I published my report at 11pm he actually called me at 8 am the next morning trying to convince me that I would indeed receive the tickets, he was just out of town etc. pretty much all the crap ppl on here had said he had told them whilst ripping them off. I insisted that I wanted a refund by the end of the day or I was contacting his PO and police ( he insisted he did not have a PO) but online records say otherwise... Long story short he did not want me calling or doing anything and sent me a refund via money gram which he used part of my refund to pay for!!!! A theif is a theif I suppose...he also was persistent in asking if I would remove my complaint from rip off report if refunded. I agreed to updating with the facts only which is what I did... The really funny thing is that all day he was saying he was in San Fran and that's why he couldn't give me my money back in person but the money gram was from Reno where we both live! I'm thinking he didn't want to get arrested or his a** kicked.... Which honestly was prob a good call on his part :)

Received Refund

After I posted my original report I was contacted by Kris. He offered to refund me the $250 deposit that I had left on the burning man tickets through money gram. Although I am very pleased to have received my money back (minus the $25 dollar money gram fee he paid with a portion of my refund) I am still down 2 tickets that are incredibly hard to obtain and being this close to the event I am not sure I will now be able to attend. This sucks because I have one ticket already and the others were for my husband and father - can't really ditch out on hubby. So in the end i'm glad my experience ended better than others on here and to Kris' credit I was refunded. It was still a crappy experience.
