I paid Thomas of Kwagu to upgrade a website he previously built for my company. The job should have taken no more than an hour. I gave him a week still no results. He promised to complete it the following week with no results. This went on for two months with him giving me more excuses and broken promises. He then required additional monies for things he previously hadn't mentioned. Feeling blackmailed we paid. The site was finally completed only for him to delete it several months later with no notice stating he didn't like the previous complaints ( about his lack of work or effort). When I told him I wanted to take the site to a different server he stated he lost all my company website info he built.

There is legitimacy to this complaint even though its not accurate and lacking many details. This was a client I had back in 2009 and they first paid me for MySpace graphics and then a website. There were no issues in the first couple years. When their 1st year was up, I gave them an additional year for FREE because they were lacking in income and they said they needed help. So when the 2nd year was up, I told them they had to pay and I couldnt host there website for FREE anymore. For a website and 3 years of hosting, the total they paid was $50 (which I gave them an extreme discount). They didnt understand hosting cost
money because I didnt charge the first couple years even though this was part of the agreement in the beginning. They wanted another year for FREE in which I couldnt offer and they felt entitled to. After a few personal threats, I told them I cant continue business with them and gave them their web design and that they needed to find their own hosting provider.
