If you truly do believe that this is the work of some company trying to get you to hire them then this is the wrong place to post a review because THEY can't do anything about the reports here. All this is is a consumer website. However YOU can do something about your report here. Contact ripoffreport.com and I know you can at least do something about what it says- they will add an edit saying that you have made every attempt to resolve the matter. It falls on the consumer to speak up if they have a problem with service and in a situation like this, they could have contacted you to let you know they weren't happy and it sound like they didn't do that at all. I know ripoffreport has been doing a lot of edits recently to set the record for companies that have been spoken about here.

Several B&Bs around the country received fake/scam "reviews" back in January and again in April.    Immediately following (and sometimes before the post even appeared on this site!), we received multiple offers from an Indian company to help "repair our reputation."   Total scam effort by con artists to extort small businesses.   They even tried it on the world's largest travel review site and their posts were exposed and removed.

For example, look at Grand View Bed and Breakfast in Wrangell, Alaska.  Same attack ad pattern.   Proof that this "review" is silly.

Oh, and we've had zero guests from Alabama this year, much less one who experienced a less-than-stellar stay at our top-ranked inn.

Judge for yourself but consider that ripoffreport is basically a big extortion site and shouldn't be trusted EVER.
