I recieved a letter with the title 'ladybird international lotto' also known by others as "Trans-Continental Lotto" the beginning address was from Amsterdam, Netherlands. The envelope was adressed from Montreal Canada. Enclosed was a check made out to me in the amount of $2,600 for "all the tax and service charges regarding my winnings" my total winnings were part of a group and my portion was $120,000.00 US dollars.
I had to call a phone number to begin the claims process. I did call the number out of curiosity and got a message that it could no longer record any more messages. I really hope filing this report will help someone not get taken by this scam.
