Lakeland Toyota why must they check with so many banks? Lakeland Florida

I was in the market for a New Car the begining of December and desided to go to Lakeland Toyota to look. When I found a car that I liked I went back the next day and I was having my mother co-sign for me. We put in all the paper work and waited a while. Being my mother has an account with a credit union they wanted to go through them and after my mother said no don't do that they did it anyways.

Then, being I have bad credit and my mother has excellent credit, it was a little hard for them to find someone to approve the loan. Not sure why because I went somewhere else and got a brand new car a few days later with no problems. Now my mother and I have gotten 7 denials in the mail from different banks.

I called Lakeland Toyota about a week before I left Florida to move to Maryland and told them at that time I had gotten 5 letters from banks and I had told them not to do that when I had left from looking at cars. I said I have purcased a car and that they needed to stop. Well, they didn't. They keep calling there banks even after I told them to stop.

Now with every bank that is checking our credit our credit score drops and I don't have the credit score to keep loosing. What do I do now? I called on the 26th and then they went through 2 more banks, one on the 29th and one on the 31st. If anyone can help me out let me know
