Larry Messina came to my house on Monday July 15th to replace control board in my trane furnace. Larry Messina took 3 day working on installing control board. He billed me for 22 hours. To replace control board it takes 2 to 3 hours at most. Larry could not get control board to work. On day 3 me the home owner I googled online how to install control board in trane xr90 furnace. The reason Larry couldnt get it to work was because he wasnt adding the jumper on control board.
I the home owner figured this out in 2 mins from a google search. I told Larry about it. He added jumper and the furnace worked. He billed me for 22hours worth of work. When it should have been fixed the same day. Let alone me the home owner figured it out. This guy Larry is a rip off artist. Claims he has worked on furnaces for 40 years. But couldnt figure out control board. Me as the home owner solved the problem with no experience in this field. Basically this guy is a rip off artist cant be trusted.
