May 23rd had nightmare at Toyota tent sale!May 24 went to Larry Miller Subaru sale said they had a DEAL for me and sorry about what happened at other tent sale. After driving all over to find the deal they supposedly had for me we finally found a 1997 Toyota T100 marked 14,995 they said they were going to treat me right to make up to what happened.
I had 15,000 to spend and that was my mark. Sat with closer for 3 hours got up to leave 3 times finally came to terms with a BUMPER TO BUMPER service contract for 16,500 paid 802.21 for contract. 1 week later battery went out they replaced but said they shouldnt have favor to me.
I mentioned that it might be something else too, they said no. 1 week after that starter went out of course not covered under contract electrical. They said they would give me cost on parts for 200.00, I had friend put in for free labor cost $193.00 of starter. Then clutch started being weird. Took in they said to redo I think differentials front and back of course not covered under contract cost to me $200.00. Truck runs good for month then clutch starts acting up they said it would be $800 for new one of course not covered under my contract. Had friend replace slave cylinder for $85 free labor but told me clutch is bad. There is no way I could wear out clutch in one month. I was sold a lemon but have no lemon law in Utah Help!

I have a '94 Camry and last week brought it in for an oil change at my very honest mechanic. I told him about this site, and all the reports on sludge.
He told me that if you look in the owners manual it states oil changes are to be done at 7,500 miles. "THAT IS TOO LONG!", he said. Toyota says this to create the illusion that the car is more maintenance-free than it really is. He said the oil should be changed at 3,000 - 4,000 miles, and this is why many people are blowing their motors.
