The company I work for purchased 5 licenses from this outfit 1 year ago. Since then, two emplyees are no longer using licenses.
The licenses are still active but the company no longer has the disc to the software. I called the number on the website to ask for a link to download the software and was spoken to very ridely by the person answering the phone.
He claimed that there is no link available and the I should use the cd. When I informed him hwe no longer had the cd he said it is not his problem and just kept telling me to use the cd.
I asked what to do to resolve the issue and he just kept stating to use the cd. The companies tech support team aslo called and had the same experience.
He claims the software will be outdated in 9 days and I informed him that does not matter. The company bought the license and the seller is refusing to provide a link to download the software.
I advised the persone answering the phone, who claimed to be a partner in the company that I thought this was fruad he he said I should take my business elsewhere.
Of course, the company has already paid for the licenses and bought an additional individual license because they had this same problem once before.
This guy is just trying to force the company to spend hundreds of dollars on new software they do not need.
DO NOT do business with this company. They sell you stuff and then tell you it is your problem. There are planty of other alternatives out there.
In this economy anybody handling their business in this manner should be out of business.

Correcting the facts
AUTHOR: National LawForms, Inc. - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, January 28, 2010
The firm, The Pargman Law Firm of Decatur GA purchased the software on 7/17/2006, not last year as he Mr. Hoffman states. The firm registered five systems upon purchase. They then contacted our office for additional activations on 7/19, 7/25, 8/1, & 8/7/2006. Each subsequent request came with an issue with the firm, either someone left the firm, computer crash and the like. We provided activations every time as a coutesy never once charging for all of the additional licenses. Each time explaining the need to remove the license, so it can be transferred at no charge. The firm added one additional license in February of 2008.
It should also be said that the firm received a CD, and lost it. He argued, that we should be accountable to provide four year-old replacement copies.
Mr. Hoffman is correct in that we did not provide another free license, as we already had issued four more than they paid for. The firm represents itself as a Real estate firm, but seemed perfectly willing to use outdated hud forms from 2006, despite the laws having changed.
In any event, the irony here is that when they learned of the law changes, he purchased an update for just one PC. I guess we should blame the economy.
We have all of the documented notes on this account, as well as the original invoices should anyone wish to know the facts.
