I just wanted to make everyone aware that LEANNA EVAJEAN MYERS/EVA LEA'S GOLDEN RETRIEVERS in Leadwood, MO (phone number 573-482-0059 or 573-482-2532) breeds golden retrievers and conducts shady business practices and falsely advertises!

I purchased what was supposed to be an English cream golden retriever from her (a specific type of golden retriever that is very pricey), and was assured multiple times that she was English cream, and to make a long story short the puppy is NOT English cream.

She lied to me about the puppy's parents (the father she advertised as the sire was NOT the sire, it was a different dog in her possession), the puppy had hook worms which could have killed her if she had not seen my vet when she did, and it took more than 8 weeks for me to force her to send me her AKC papers (which THANK GOD I did get).

She has MANY golden retrievers, I suspect she has a puppy mill.

When I discovered she had been dishonest (when I recieved the AKC papers), I offered her the chance to explain herself and pay me back $300 (the deposit) for the mishap but instead she began lying and making excuses for herself such as:

• The dogs were not hers, she only sells them - LIE, she is listed as the dogs owners on the papers
• The AKC made a mistake - LIE, the AKC, a reputable organization, does not make mistakes like that
• The puppy had incorrect coloring because dogs get lighter over time - LIE, the puppy has gotten darker, not lighter

After I called her out on her lies (politely, might I add) she refused to talk like a reasonable business person and decided instead to immediately block me from Facebook, delete her social media profiles, and not return any of my calls or texts, so here we are.
