Legal Force Tradmarkia Scammed me by saying hey could get my company name trademarked Mountain View california

I was told I could trademark my business name that someone else had abandoned the name. They told me the filing fee would be $159 plus the government filing fees. I got a call and tramarkia or legal for or whatever they will call their name next said before we can file this we need you to pick a new name as you cannot use this name.I said "your company said I could. I said I did not want to file  and please refund and they said no refund. I said but you never filed and they said pick a new name and I said I only wanted the name of my company. The company pulled the old bate and switch. If I had only done my research I would have found they have 10 complaints with the BBB...d**n
