I was contacted by Matt Willimas through an email at work giving me an amount of 598.88 i owed on a cash advance.  The company name he used in the email was a company i was making payment to and thought something gone wrong.  The email threaten me with a law suit, all court costs, process server's fees, attorney fees where permitted, and other post judgement costs that will be added to the amount i already owed. 

Also, stated that if payment was not received within 2 business day of the date of the letter/email, a suit in small claims court may me commenced against me with a judgement.  i wanted to get this settled, the i was sent a settlement offer of $254.00, then my account would have been paid in full. i was asked to get a money pak card for 254.00, then fax the 14-digits on back of the loaded card and i did. i was emailed that the 254.00 was processed, but never received a confirmation #. 

Then, i called the cash advance company, who i thought i was making the settlement offer, and they had not turned my account over to any third-party. My account was still in their office in "good standing".
