Legal Recovery Law Offices Grossly Violates Fair Debt Collection Practices Act San Diego, California

Asset Acceptance was just fined 2.5 million dollars in civil penalties for misreprenting debts that are too old to collect by the FTC.  Legal Recovery is suing me for a credit card that is well over 4 years old and they misreprented this to me and failed to notify me of this in order to get a payment from me and get the clock restarted on it.  The Statute of Limitations in the state of California is 4 years from date of last payment (every state is different). 

I filed an answer and have sent numerous discovery requests and they ignore every single one of them.  I sent them certified mail/return reciept so there is no question as to whether or not they received it.  If you are also being victimized by this firm, please file a complaint with the FTC.  The more people that file complaints, the more it will raise the eyebrows of FTC officials and they will start looking into the practices of Legal Recovery.  If you are sued by them, file an answer.  Don't ignore it.  Chances are, the statute is expired and no longer enforcable.
