*Consumer Suggestion: prove it
*UPDATE Employee: The truth!
Got a phone call from a Michael Brown about a month ago. I was told that if I could come up with 319.00 dollars that I could go and take a state exam and make a six digit income. I paid the money in full, started taking the test and could not pass it and was told there was no refund . By a man named Jerry Crosby out of Texas.
Now I am a single mom trying to better myself, believed in what Michael told me. Now I am on my own with no money. Pretty much told tough luck.

all these income claims are easy to prove - where is your 1099 for 2008? Also, while you're at it explain why you aren't using the company name "United American" anymore??????????
which company are you and if everything is so wonderful why change names?

The truth!

Read the complaint from Virginia in Dunellon, FL. I am an agent with Liberty National and work for the branch manager Mike Brown that she referred to. I was recruited by Mike Brown and have sat in on many interviews with him and at NO TIME has he ever told anyone that they could get a refund if they do not pass the license test. The state requires that anyone selling insurance have a license and that $319 goes to the various entities involved in getting that license. Not one single nickel goes to Liberty National. They only benefit if the person actually passes the test and gets a license and starts selling. The company that provides the 40 hour, state required study course does offer to pay one time for an individual to retake the exam IF you pass all of their practice exams before taking the state exam. Maybe that's where Virginia got confused. If she couldn't pass the state exam she either didn't study like she was supposed to or just isn't good at taking tests. Either way, it isn't Liberty National's fault. A six-figure income is absolutely a real possibility with this company if a person will put the time into to studying for the state exam and actually doing some WORK (which most people seem scared of anymore) you can make a great living and help other people at the same time.
