A representative by the name of Jeff Malinger called me and said i was approved for a loan. I orginally applied for $7500.00, he told me under my credit file I was approved for the min $5000.00. He told me that i need to pay upfront 5mnths in advance the amount of a payment so that the lender would know I am creditworthy. The payments would have been $155.00 a month for 36 months. He told me i had to send 5x that amount which equaled to be $755.00. He sent me the paperwork and said to sign required documents and send them back, he would forward the information and have loan proccessed. Once documents sent back he told me to send money via western union and that i would have to pay additional $60 because the money was going to the accountant in canada ( international transaction).

So i sent a total of $841.00 to the company.He told me funds would be deposited in my account the next business day. So the next morning the customer service manager Andrew Lessiner called me and told me their was a problem with my loan that after looking at my credit file the lender required additional funds to secure loan. He told me that I could send and addtional $841.00 and the lender would have no choice but to deposit funds because i showed i could handle payments. Or i could get a refund, so I said no im not sending anymore I want a refund he said fine that loan would still be open if i changed my mind. He said it would take 2 weeks for my refund and it would be direct deposited into my account. So I called them up a couple of days ago and go no answer, no ring no nothing. Before I filed complaint with BBB and the company came up in system and then the BBB sent me a message stating that LPF didnt respond to letter sent and they closed my case. So I was scammed out of my money,
