LaTasha Forbes was advised that the book would be available on Amazon which it was. The platform we use is CreateSpace. CreateSpace in fact does pay royalties. We did a lot of work on Ms Forbes books - the book was unreadable in its original form. We liked the story but it was terribly written and we spent hours and hours reworking this book. Ms. Forbes is a thankless person, unappreciative of the time spent helping make her book readable.

I did respond to Latarsha's question - we were about to put it up on the website but she then terminated the agreement. Books usually go up on our website two to three weeks after completion. They go up on Amazon first.

We pay our authors with a percentage of the royalties that we are paid by Amazon/Createspace. We do not indicate Createspace in the agreement because the agreement indicates where the book is going to be sold; Amazon.com, Ingram and other distributors that we use.

Royalties are paid to us by Amazon/Createspace and in turn we pay our authors. We also receive royalties from the sale of books on our website. There is no royalty restriction in having the book available on Amazon or anywhere we distribute.

As for "shotty" editing. The book was very rough and needed a lot of help with making it palatable. Multiple hours were spent giving direction to the author regarding the flow of the book. 

Also, once we work on a book it does not mean it's the final product. We invite, as I did Ms. Forbes to submit any number of revisions she would like to. But instead she is unhappy with her own work and so would rather trash us than make any productive attempt at publishing.

My recommendation to anyone working with Ms. Forbes is to tread lightly. We make publishing a partnership between us and the author. Some authors believe the ideas they have will make millions of dollars without really wanting to understand the work that goes into producing a book.

Also if you want to just the work yourself, the book is available for the next several weeks until we are forced to take it down...
