I would NOT recommend Link U Systems or Link U Realty Website design at all. In fact, I can truthfully say "Buyer Beware" of this company.

I paid thousands or dollars for a custom website with Link U and have had nothing but problems and poor customer service with this company from the onset. After many ongoing issues and problems, I attempted to escalate my complaints to the owner of the company, but got a complete run around from the employees who would not tell me who the owner was or transfer me to him. I finally found out that Wes Rocha was the owner of Link U and only reached him by getting a back number for him through an extensive internet search that took me hours to complete. After reaching Wes Rocha, nothing was ever done except ask me for more money to fix a website that I already paid to develop and should be working.

At present, the navigation bars on the home page of my website have not worked for over a year. This problem has caused many issues with customers who try to search for properties on the website and has caused many complaints by sellers whose homes I have listed. Wes Rocha's answer to the problem is to charge me another $700 if I want the navigation bars on the home page of my website to work. This is insane, but comes from the designers not being in house employees, but rather outside subcontractors who can't fix a website that another designer developed. This should be a Link U problem, but they have made it my problem and at my cost if I want it fixed and want my custom website to work properly!

I can say without reservation that I have given Link U every chance possible to retain me as a customer, but they just don't know the meaning of good customer service and won't fix the problems. Out of necessity I finally made the decision to go to another service provider for a website for my company.

Since I have been with Link U, I have experienced bad customer service, unreturned phone calls, ignored emails, ignored repair ticket request, poor attitudes, a website that does not work most of the time and an owner who really does not care at all. If you are a real estate agent or broker, all I can say is that you should run away from Link U Realty if you want a real estate website that functions properly.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Not a likely experience for our clients...

AUTHOR: Wesley R - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, December 02, 2014

I apologize you had such a hard time finding my contact details and your experience with LinkU. I would have recommended talking to any one of our managers to resolve your issue first, since my availability can be limited. Although, a search for "Wesley Rocha" in Google should bring up my LinkedIn profile as #1 result.

Unfortunately, you feel we were at fault and we couldn’t find a resolution. I understand, based on your perception of things, why you are upset, however I do not feel that is not the reality of the situation, at least from my perspective. In the 10+ years we have been in business, you will notice we generally don’t run into issues where we can't find a resolution, but I truly do hope you find what you are looking for in a service.

Here is what happened...

- The client purchased a custom design in 2008.
- Recently, this client wanted to make changes to the site, which would require a substantial amount of time.
- The client ran into issues with getting these items done, which led us to having a conversation.
- We talked about all the issues this client had with our company and did my best to address the concerns.
- I offered a free draft, waiving the design fees for how the new home page would look.
- We immediately fixed the IDX property search and create a frame page for free, due to the issues you had with getting that resolved.
- Due to the issues with the site being built in 2008, I had recommended a complete overhaul, since you would be spending money to make changes anyway. This would normally cost over $1000, but I discounted it to $700.
- You considered, but ultimately declined the re-design project, (for the record, I truly don’t think it is “ripping” you off, recommending to update your site built 6-7 years ago, anyone would have recommended that, since it is in your best interest, we have re-done our site www.linkurealty.com probably 3-4 times in that time frame).
- When I returned from vacation, I replied with the option to provide a cost to only fix the most critical issues, or offer payment plan.
- The client responded about possibly moving your services and the $700 being too much to fix the issues.
- I responded saying, if you just want to fix the menu we can do that to, I would need to get you a quote.
- I never heard back (unless it went to spam), because I have no other e-mail after that.
- A few months later the client contacted support upset about the menu not working among other changes.
- These changes they did for free, however the menu issue would have to be escalated, in which there was an additional cost.

In regards to our designers, the claims are completely false, our designers are on salary and work directly for LinkUSystems, Inc. I checked all your tickets, all of them have responses and the website not working, is related to your menu not working, again from IE 11 no longer supporting the scripting used back in 2008.

Any of our clients not on a custom design would get updates automatically and those updates are included. Even custom sites within a certain time frame are covered under warranty. However in this case, since it was a custom site built in 2008, that no longer applied and as a result any updates to conform with the new browser standard would have additional cost, which also was not $700, as indicated above.

It is unfortunate this client feels this way toward our company and saddens me that this is the situation, however we truly have done what we could resolve the issues with the client, aside from giving away services, which we simply cannot do in this situation.
