LKN Permits, LLC Mickey Larson Owner falsely claims to be expert in obtaining Duke Energy construction permits for Lake Norman; worthless service, won't refund fee. Denver NC

We had a horrible experience using LKN Permits, LLC and feel strongly that no one else should fall victim to this deceit. We hired Mickey Larson to help obtain a dock construction permit from Duke Power Lake Services to rebuild our Lake Norman dock. The LKN Permits, LLC website touts Ms. Larson's expertise in this area, but her actions showed this to be false advertising.

She displayed a lack of knowledge of current Duke Energy regulations and protocal, ignored our texts, emails and phone messages for weeks at a time, and did not act act as a proper representative to Duke Energy on our behalf. Her mismanagement of the process cost us an additional $1150.00.

Specifically disturbing is that Ms. Larson's failure to submit the application fee and dock drawings with our initial application point to negligence and fraud. She has refused to issue us a refund or admit to her spectacular failure to perform the job for which she was paid.

Formal complaints against Mickey Larson and LKN Permits, LLC have been filed with the Better Business Bureau and NC Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division.
