First I was I was called into Loman Ford and Kia in Iselin NJ, with the false representation that I already had a loan waiting for me; little did I realize that I still had a huge loop to hurdle through. Their "Guaranteed Loan" is Bogus!! It's guaranteed alright, as long as you take the car that they want to shove down your throat, along with a sizable downpayment larger than most people use to put down on their house.
After being disappointed about the type of car I was eligible for, the original sales guy stop returning my text messages, so I called and spoke with some Sales Manager/Finance guy named "Anthony". I wish that I had gotten his last name, but all that he gave me was "Anthony"; so folks, anybody out their who has less than perfect credit better be careful when speaking with "Anthony" from Loman Ford and Kia in Iselin, NJ.
This man was not only rude to be in the auto/customser service business, but then he has the audacity to try and be condescending to me in both his tone and use of words. He really had alot of nerve. He didn't strike me as a very educated man; he probably started at Loman as some wash boy and worked his way up. I guess he felt that he had the upper hand, and chose to use his "little bit of power" to prove it....."Napoleon Complex???????", I wonder.
Anyway, in this day and age with the economy being in the state that it is in, I would think that an industry such as the auto industry would try and bend over backwards for anyone, no matter what their credit, because there is always another dealer, sometimes, right next door who will.
I intend to find out what the procedure is to report poor customer service from Ford Dealers, and I hope to report this man. I hope he loses his job.

I orginially had a bad experience with Loman Ford in Iselin, NJ, but after speaking with Pat Sweeny, a General Manager, it could have been a misunderstanding between myself and the original person that I had spoken with.
Mr. Sweeny explained everything about what had transpired; and perhaps, "Anthony" was trying to explain the situation as well, but it could have just came out wrong, or I could have taken it the wrong way. Mr. Sweeny explained that "Anthony" really was working on my behalf, and if he was then I appreciate that.
In any case, I do appreciate Loman Ford for reaching out to make amends, which shows that they trully do care about customer service.
I also appreciate Ford Motor company for replying so promptly to my complaint and concern, and therefore, I will highly recommend Ford to everyone that I know, and I myself will consider Ford in all of my future purchases.

The best thing you did was to walk away. You didn't like the offer they gave you you walked. This does not make it a RipOff.

- This is where people got into trouble by getting in over their head. You are not going to find any dealer right how is willing to "bend over backwards" for people with less than perfect credit, even some people with perfect credit are having issues. You may have to realize that you can not get a car at all, not get the car you want, or be willing to take a higher interest rate and/or downpayment. But just keep doing what you did this time. If you don't like the offer move on.
