Purporting to employ me, and send me as he called it first assignment. Sent me a check and instruction of what to do, but later discovered the check was fraud. I called Peter P. Steere who said the check belong to his wife and the wife will contact me; only to be sending my call to voice mail. I have reported to matter to police here in Chicago.

The accusation made here is not true.
We are victims of identity theft. We have no affiliation, nor any knowledge of Lori Duane or any other person or company that is part of this scheme. Somehow, our names, credit card and address information were stolen and appear to have been used in some mailing we know nothing about.
We did not scam anyone and had no role whatsoever in whatever has taken place.
On Saturday, January 14th, 2012 we reported this to the Madison, Connecticut police. The writer should contact them with any further questions and may also want to follow up with his local police department.
