I went into Lowes to purchase carpet.I filled out all of the info and purchased the carpet that I wanted. I was told that they did not trust the measurements that are made by customers, so they would have to send someone out to measure(surprise same measurements that I asked for).

I waited a week before they could send someone out-plus I took the day off of work to make this happen. I also paid someone to store my furniture in the meantime-so that the carpet could be laid with no problem. I was told that it would take 3 weeks for this to happen.... WRONG...

I did not hear from them-so I placed a call and asked when is this job going to be completed.. They replied, that they didn't even have my order.......The people at the store had no idea what to do-or how to handle this situation...

I called the customer hotline on numerous occasions. I was supposed to receive a call from someone with-in 24 hour... No surprise---I did not receive a call.... I had to call back on numerous occasions. I was put on a three way call so that the lady would connect me to the store manager (who really didn't want to talk to me anyway) and then she hung up...

The manager said that he could not find anything right off hand and that he had to look it up.. I told him it had to be there and I gave him the total that I was quoted from the man who took my order. Apparently he found my paperwork... while I was on hold I overheard him tell another female, "well this was________ he's alway's F'_____things up." Then the manager got on the phone and proceeded to speak to me as though the problem was with me and not with his company or his employee whom took my order.

He told me that 1st off, that they had misquoted my order and that it was about 300 $$ more than what the person who took my order told me... He also said that it was going to be another 3 weeks before this carpet came in because it had not been ordered and there was no record of my payment-which now makes me think that there may be an issue with my credit card # being possibly stolen so I will have to cancel my card...

The manager made me feel that this whole problem was mine... and that he was not going to do anything to expedite this to a resoulution... VERY POOR CUSTOMER service.. (My friends told me not to go there, that I should go elsewhere- because they take advantage of females.) I guess they were right.

Anyway, I told the manager that I was not happy... I got off the phone with him and placed yet another call to their hotline..I was told that my info was going to be given to a district manager and a supervisor and that someone would call me back immediately... Well-they did not..... When I got home, I sent an e-mail to them---again no response...they don't give a d**n.....

I called the hotline again and they confirmed that the district manager had received my call. And yet they refuse to resond to me.
