I took my automobile (94 Chevy Camaro) in to Mak Haik Chevrolet located on Interstate Hwy 10, for a overheating problem. I was told that it may be a coolant loss in the radiator. I left the car for diagnostic testing. I was called later on during the day by my advisor; he told me that my car needed all the freeze plugs replaced, a thermostat, a coolant flush, all new hoses & among other repairs that go along with the repairs.

I was told that it would cost around $1700.00 to repair completly. I authorized thim to repair the car completly. I picked the car up following the rapairs and later noticed that my car was still overheating. I brought the car back and they later told me that the cooling fan was gone and I needed a new one. I asked them why wasn't that noticed when they did the diagnostic test on the car. I explained to them that that should have been on the check list as one of my problems with overheating.

They kindly repaired it at no cost to me. two days later I noticed my car was leaking coolant. I called the repair shop up and they told me to drop the car off once again. I was called back and was told the water pump nedded replacing. I don't beleive that they followed a check list on possible auto overheating problems. I asked for all of my parts that was taken off of the car and noticed that the hoses looked like they were cut instead of split like I was told by my service advisor.

I later called him up and confronted him about the hoses and he told me that " well we had to cut thim off to cut them off". I am not happy with the service I got being that I spent almost $2000.00 to get my car fixed at there business. I asked for a breakdown off all the repairs done to my car and received nothing yet. We are now in a new year and the rapairs were done around Nov 2001. I feel that I have been taken and I am not Happy with the service.
