Purchased motorcycle direct from the above salesperson a few years ago and then sold it on consignment with the same person though he was not directly involved in the sale but I did communicate with the him to try to resolve this because he claimed he's the manager. Long story short I was never paid for the sale and I also overpaid for the purchase. I was taken for thousands of dollars through the purchase and the sale of a motorcycle. SCAM

I can tell you after giving it some more thought that John Cahill and Company are liars and scammers. When I was told of the sale I made the mistake of signing the title thus making it easer for them to steel my property even though the motorcycle was gone when I was told of the sale. They made it known that the motorcycle was gone so I had no choice but to sign the title. After thinking about it I was never given the option of taking the motorcycle back through some sort of agreement. They new that after I signed the title over and using the store name and knowing that the store was going under that they could get a motorcycle for half the price thus steeling from me. I will never trust any dealership or individual like i did with this transaction. I trusted these people and in the end they took me for a sucker. Please beware.

My intent of this report was an attempt to get more informion from the people involved in this SCAM, specificly from John Cahill one of the persons I got "taken" by, the other being Dale St Arnold. The only response I got was from someone that calls himself "David". So I failed at this attempt.
I lost money and still belive that the two named people above still owe it to me because this transaction was not done in good faith; I believe they know what they were doing.
Iron River Sports Center
filed bankruptcy and its bankruptcy attorny is Yvonne. I never got much information from her, only the run around. I was never able to get a hold of Daniel Kontny.
I understand that I will never receive a single dime of money owed me and would recommend every one stay away from MAC Sport and Marine at Superior, WI. Also stay away from the owner of the entity known as Iron River Sports Center, Daniel Kontny of Iron River, WI.
This report well not well written but a quickly written report of a SCAM that happened at Superior, WI.
Also if any of the people named in this report have any proof of anything that happened in this SCAM please contact me.

Update: I did email John at the new store and did not receive any information. I think he does not want to talk via email but thats the only way I am willing to talk with him.
The person I signed the consignment with is Dale St Arnold. The owner of the business was Daniel Kontny.

Responsibility

This happened so fast that those responsible for this will all deny any responsibility. About a week or so of stalling (after I was notified of the sale) a sign was placed on all doors that read something along the lines of "Closed for Inventory." I forgot to mention the lien on the motorcycle that was paid by someone at the dealership, and of course i was never paid. In my opinion I say almost all the employees from the now non existent Iron River Sports in Superior are all dishonest people. I would not recommend anyone do business with them.

Hi Jake,
As part of the partnership of MAC Sport and Marine, we know firsthand of the mulitple people that got "taken" in some form or another by the entity known as Iron River Sports Center. Fortunately, I can assure you that we do not have any ties to what was that organization.
John's former job included managing and selling in the Superior location. Unfortunately, he was not privy to the businesses plans, financials, or day to day money duties. If you ask any customers who were there in Iron River's last days, they would say John went above and beyond to do what he could for months after the doors shut, even with no pay or interaction with his previous employer.
Though, we (including John) know your story and believe you are right in your endeavor to get monies owed, it should not reflect on a company that has nothing to do with it. You are directing your efforts to the wrong group of people.
I believe John has given you all the contact information for the route that we have given to others to recoup their monies. This information is all we know. If you have not received it, we would appreciate you reaching out to John at the store. We would call you, but do not have your information. With that information we hope that you will be righted by his previous employer.
Again, please reach out to him for the information. Thank you.
