MACT Health Clinic Sonora MACT HEALTH BOARD, INC REFUSED CRITICAL FOLLOWUP HEALTH CARE DUE TO A BILL I DO NOT OWE! THIS IS EXTORTION! Sonora California

Again, blindsided by this clinic when I went to make a followup appointment to go over results of critical testing related to my serious health issues.  The clinic worker stated I had been put in collections so she could not make a f/u appointment. I asked why, she could not tell me. I had not received a bill nor been contacted by a collections agency. HOW IS THIS NOT EXTORTION?!  How is this not criminal patient neglect?

Called MACT billing dept. the next day and was informed that I owed $30 from a dental visit 1 1/2 years ago where the incompetent dentist provided no services, but they still want me to pay.  Got the run around from Andrea in their billing dept.  All I get from administrators at MACT is platitudes and broken record routine. 

The billing dept. is horrendously inept, incompetent and disorganized.  Multiple contacts with Administrators who are NOT THE LEAST BIT INTERESTED IN LISTENING to valid complaints from patients.  Their attitude is that of annoyed tolerance.  They are defensive and completely disinterested in the concerns of their patients.  I have had office visits with Dr. Bagha at this clinic where she failed to follow up with sending out specimens for critical lab test results--but I still had to give my co-pay--this has happened several times. 

All I do is give them money only to be met with incompetence.  In September of 2018, I had an office visit where my blood pressure was 225/140--that is stroke out potential!  But Dr. Bagha did not suggest or offer a BP med or recommend that I go to the ER.  NO ONE showed concern over this critical BP result.  I have complained to administrators but NO ONE IS INTERESTED IN LISTENING. 

I always pay my bills and meet my financial obligations.  How am I expected to pay when I do not receive a bill?  Now my perfect credit score is tainted. They claim they put me in collections but I have had NO contact from ANY collection agency--not by phone or mail.  Now my health is in serious jeopardy (again, BP is 225/140) due to the stress of dealing with this matter.

It is gigantically insulting to me that they can accuse me of not paying my bills.  This is causing me deep distress!  Again, I will make the extortion payment, as I have in the past, because they know I have health issues that need treatment and have no other recourse (there is not an abundance of MD's in this area who are taking new patients). 

I feel like they just keep dropping these billing bombs on me to torment me. This is disgraceful and inhumane treatment of a patient.  How many others are out there?  How is this okay?  WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE CONTACT THEM AND GET THEM TO GIVE ME A FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT?
