In April my husband received a phone call claiming I had a magazine subscription that needed renewed. He gave them his debit card info we got billed nearly $70.

I cancelled his card. By the time I had realized what had happened it was too late for the bank to retrieve our $.

In May, we received an invoice from a "collection agency" claiming we owe $1,149.54. We are getting monthly "invoices" I have since received regular phone calls giving various versions of their company name.

The last call I refused to allow the caller to speak until I could record them. The went silent as soon as I started recording, eventually hanging up on me.
