On April 14, 2014 I purchased a special deal (a Living Social Voucher) for a whole house cleaning from Maid Affordable. I left a message for Maid Affordable at 480-268-5464 shortly after purchasing the voucher to schedule an appointment for cleaning.
They did not respond to my call. I went to their web site twice--once about two weeks ago and then again yesterday to submit cleaning requests at their web site. Yesterday, I tried to call them, but their "mailbox is full".
When I called Living Social to advise them that I think this company is a scam, Living Social indicated that I could not get a refund as a credit to my credit card, because it has been longer than 15 days since I made the purchase. They indicated that Maid Affordable says they're having trouble getting phone calls. If the phone is the problem, why has Maid Affordable not responded to emails either?
Now I am asking Maid affordable for a refund direct to me. I wouldn't trust them enough to give them access to my house.
