On July 10th 2012, Maier Realty & Trust took out a guaranteed Loan , in the amount of $ 2000.00 , for the time of 12 months. After numerous request for repayment, Maier Realty & Trust so far has refused to do so, even after many promises to return said loan.

Richard Meier, signed the agreement with His personal guaranty, even using His CA Real Estate License. that the signed and agreed on contracts were going to be repaid in a timely fashion. Mr. Meier did not live up to His signed agreemenr, therefor, he is in default. Mr. Meier's word and promises can not be trusted. Any Investor out there beware of His tactics. He will sign any agreement, but He will not live up to it. All, I want is my Investment back, according to the bilateral signed agreement. If He does not want to honor the agreement, then He is a scam artist, a liar and a crook. JA

Response to Mr. Meier,
The contract that He signed, states;
Promissory Note,
Borrower agrees that untill the principal and interest owed under this Promissory Notes are paid in full , this note will be secured by a lien against a comission payable to Meier Realty & Trust, CDRE License # 00999467, payable from closing escrow on or before 11/15/2012
It also says in the original contract that Borrower shall be allowed an extension under the same terms. Mr Meier has refused to give me a written extension under the same term as the original one signed and personally guaranteed by Him. There for, in my my opinion He is a scam artist and a liar. Factual Account: Maier Realty & Trust was acting only as the sole guarantor brokering a loan between Josef Augustin (Lender) and a 3rd party (borrower). Purpose of the loan was to provide living expenses to the borrower who was divorcing his spouse. The case was estimated at the time to take 1 year.
Because the spouse has contentiously fought to receive a settlement far in excess of the No-Fault 50/50 Divorce statues in California, the case is still undecided, continues to be delayed and has entered its 3rd year of litigation.
The original promissory note has likewise systematically been extended. Mr. Augustin is aware of this, has been kept fully informed, agreed to extensions and he continues to earn interest. Under the original understanding, the note will be repaid upon the resolution of the case before the Family Court in Riverside, California when the distribution of the couple's assets is determined.
Should the borrower for any reason default, Maier Realty & Trust, as the guarantor, will certainly honor the note by seeing to it that Mr. Augustin is paid in full at that time.
In an effort to facilitate an alternative to servicing of the note, Maier Realty & Trust has made good faith offers to satisfy Mr. Augustin at no cost to him, by working mutually on a short term program so he would not have to wait for the Family Court. He initially began this process but suddenly decided to instead to sabotage the program at the last minute. Had he completed his part, he would have been repaid by now. However, despite his actions, this offer is still on the table.
Maier Realty & Trust has earned a reputation of honesty and fair dealing over the last 28+ years. This is the only negative complaint to our knowledge ever posted anywhere. It is categorically false and misleading. We vehemently deny this allegation for the facts stated herein. We deeply regret the course of action Mr. Augistin has taken in which he both slanders and libels our good name. He has mischaracterized the facts.
