One clerk asked if I wanted a cover sheet when I wanted to fax some documents. Since this is often a free service, I assumed it was. When I went to pay, I was charged for that page, too.

I recalled that I was going to ship some packages through the same store. I was purchasing the boxes and the shipping fee. The clerk asked if I wanted him to pack the boxes, which I assumed was a free service, when he went to charge me, he wanted to charge me for the packing (a pretty high fee per box as I recall). I refused and took the items to the FedEx store and shipped at about half the cost with free packing.

How cheap and self-centered can one get?

AUTHOR: MBE Owner - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 12, 2009

Charging for a cover sheet is a business prerogative. Some give free covers but charge more per sheet. Assuming is rather lame. If you don't like it, why complain? Just don't do business there again. It is guaranteed, however, that where ever you go, there will be the potential of something 'different' or undesireable. And that is inevitable with persons like Bend. He uses the 'assume word pretty fluently without consideration of the cliche', assuming just makes an 'a*s of U and ME'.

Now, the bizarre or perhaps just simply attrocious ignorance. Bend "assumed" packaging materials and service is FREE?! Who is this dope?? Who covers the expense of the business? Who pays for those boxes and materials? Do the employees there simply consider it hobby time without pay? Whether Bend is mailing cookies or an antique china dinnerware set, he expects someone else to do it for him? Unbelievable!!

Perhaps Bends mother coddled him too long or maybe he's lazy. It doesn't take much imagination to know how much free materials and services he offers to the public. He also lacks the competence to manage a business. What's even more concerning is that Bends same attitude would be reflected for what he has to do to get a paycheck from his employeer. What, his employer doesn't sell products and services for free? How can Bend get by with having someone else do his job for him?

And FEDEX Kinko's also charges for packaging and materials. If they didn't, everyone could haul in there outboard motors, glass framed pictures, niknaks, computers, televisions, etc, etc, and have them packed for FREE for half the price!!! Not. Who is this Bend idiot??
