Mainstreet Telephone USBI Fraudulent charges on local phone bill ripoff Villanova Pennsylvania

I recieved an add on to my local phone company (Lakedale Telephone)bill in rural Minnesota. It was a 13.90 charge for a platinum plan at 12 a.m. on a Monday night and the call was carried by mainstreet telephone usbi. The problem was that there was no call made it is a scam off of the internet they add the charges with just you phone number.

I work for a phone company and the way they pick and choose I beleive is if you have you and your spouse listed in the phone book because when I called (888-478-8724)usbi and was tranfered to Mainstreet- about 25 minutes of holding-I was asked if this was Paul I answered yes they asked if I knew xx my spouse I replied yes they told me that she ordered a calling card I didn't asked why we haven't recieved it but just responded that she did not order such a thing.

They gave me a cancellation confirmation number and the reps and rudley disconnected the call. I then had to call my local teleco to give them the confirmation number and the rep there told me it will probly appear on my next two billing cycles but this should take care of it. This is a rip off from the word go and we wanted people to be aware of it because it is just another of many social sins that occur daily in this world.
