Mammoth Steel - Chad Weinand - Dana Acker Failed to return deposit after failing to fullfill the contract we had with Chad regarding a building we had ordered. Denver Colorado

Plain and simple...we had an aggreement with Mammoth Steel/Chad Weinand out of Denver, Colorado for a building.  We paid a deposit to him by check and he cashed it.  We never received blueprints or building materials.  We have made several attempts to settle this with him.  We have contacted the state of Iowa's Attorney General and we are now making last efforts to locate Chad Weinand to settle this matter but his phone lines have all been disconnected even the ones I placed in this report.  Our deposit was over $5,600.00 and we have been taken...we have spoken to him and he always says he is going to pay but then has reasons why he hasn't...even went as far as telling us his mother in law died.  I was sincere with my sympathy but for some reason I believe he lied to me.  I have not had any contact with him for over 5 weeks now and this all began in January of this year.  We are not in a situation where we can just give someone that large amount of money.  We work hard for what we have.  Please if anyone out there can help us locate him we would be forever greatful.  I do believe his wife's name is Dana.
