I purchased a german shepard puppy from him and my puppy had coxidia severe respiratory problems worms dehydration malnutrition and has already had a hip operation because of the conditions he lived in.
I did not know at the time he was running a puppy mill and he was selling sick injured animals. My vet bills have exceeded 5000.00 and we are still not done he has to have another hip operation. He was shut down once and know is selling puppies again.
I was awarded a 3000.00 dollar settlement from small claims as that is all they could award in this court and have not recieved a dime.

What you need to do for that kind of money is to take the time and money and go to Belgium or Holland to get one of those REAL BIG, HEALTHY SHEPHERDS that are bred to last for a long time and to be healthy.
FORGET BUYING ANYTHING FROM SOME DUDE WITH THE SURNAME OF CAPONE. HE HAS A LARGE REP TO LIVE UP TO ---- IF THAT IS EVEN HIS REAL NAME!
They need to send the constable or the deputy sheriffs by his place to seize this guys stuff and sell it and that is the only way you are going to get your money.

The "purebred" black lab that I purchased from Charles Capone in the spring of 2002 was infested with fleas, reeked of urine and had some kind of parasite that the vet told me was common in dogs sold at pet stores. Good luck with your Labradoodle. Hopefully Capone no longer does business with the Amish puppy mills, because that's where mine came from.

I purchased a LabroDoodle puppy from Mr. Capone and remain extremely satisfied with both my pup and with Mr. Capone.
I believe him to be a caring and responsible pet dealer who went out of his way to insure my happiness with our transaction. Before I purchased my LabroDoodle, I asked him for a few local references from local purchasers of his pups.
I followed them up and spoke to several clients who had high regards for Mr. Capone. I met their healthy and seemingly happy dogs and from 2 customers I heard stories of how Charles Capone provided them with a fair price and lots of help with caring for their new pups.
Before I purchased my dog I made sure that Mr. Capone was a licensed NYS puppy dealer in good standing. He has had his license from NYS for almost 10 years and I was told there had been only one complaint in all that time.
I checked the story about his being "shut down" for maltreatment of animals and found that he has NEVER had his licensed revoked.
As far as operating a "puppy mill" as his business, I discovered that Mr. Capone only sells pups that have come from licensed breeders and that each and every pup is vet checked before the sale. This is standard policy for all Licensed dealers in NYS.
I met the guy, liked him and respected his knowledge and treatment of puppies. He seems to love and enjoy his work
I recommend him to all people seeking a new, healthy pup. I have been able to call him with questions since I purchased my dog and he has ALWAYS answered my call and tried his best to help.
Thank you Charles Capone. Keep up your good work.
