Mark Flemin Of Craigslist And Isoldit using isoldit, craigslist, and ebay to scam buyers of craigslist Venice Florida
*Consumer Comment: Many Websites and "e-business sites" Need Better Quality Control!
Buying a video camera from craigs list, same story about going to hawaii "in a honeymoon" and "mom issues back home", can handle the transaction immediately, even though he dropped the camera off at isoldit and it was being auctioned on ebay. The story matches identically to a girl's story who unfortunately lost thousands buying a camper from this guy who was using a different name.
Sick of being scammed

Many Websites and "e-business sites" Need Better Quality Control!

I am a volunteer for a non-profit that helps people find work and I frequently check craigslist myself because who isn't looking for a better job these days when employer loyalty is ZIP, NOT AT ALL and NADA!
I found that only ONE of over 100 craigslist inquiries I made of alleged "employers" came back to me. Which makes me wonder if the rest wasn't an attempt to steal my identity from my resume. Only it wasn't my resume but some fictitious person I made up -- yet was very credible just to see what would happen. On the one I made the mistake of putting my real phone number on one job query, I was hounded night and day by telemarketers for two months -- and yet the job was NOTHING about telemarketing, it was supposed to be about an administrative assistant with a well-respected local company ---except there was no other contact given than a blind craig's list address e-mail.
SO I LEARNED NOT TO RESPOND TO THOSE AT ALL.
Other jobs are listed there that are blatant identity theft schemers and the ones I hate MOST of all are these PAY UP FRONT ALLEGED EMPLOYMENT AGENCIES who list themselves on there and I understand that you have to PAY and what you get is an e-mailed copy of the Help-Wanted pages from the daily newspaper. And MAYBE the jobs there are current. MAYBE.
I can only IMAGINE what the rest of the site offers and I have cut way back on looking at the list of "JOBS" on craigslist.
Some of the vehicles listed there looked too good to be true and there seems to be absolutely NO quality control on there.
I will NOT buy anything on eBay for much the same reason and I will NOT buy anything anywhere else ONLINE without a physical address ( verifiable as an actual business address)!
I can certainly sympathize with you concerning the Cyber jungle and the CyberScammers.
You are too smart to fall for their scams, lies and fauds.
I feel sorry for the people who aren't.
