Mark Mckowski , Take N Off Performance never fixed our car , and kept raising the price to fix it ! Vero Beach Florida

We hired this person and this company to replace the engine in my girlfriends sons car , he quoted us a price that we agreed on and we then waited to here that the work was performed and we could pickup the car . Mark Mckowski called my girlfriend and said we had a problem, he said when they started the engine they purchased to replace our blown one , that it blew up too ! He then wanted us to give them more money for another engine , plus they still wanted to be paid all the labor for installing a bad engine in our car to begin with . He said the only other option was that they would Doctor up the car so we could maybe drive it 2 or 4 miles to trade it in at a local dealership! By this time my girlfriend is out 1,500 on labor alone on a car that we still owed 7,000.00 dollars on . So we said that isn't going to work as we didn't wish to Pass on to someone else , what had been done to us  plus we didn't feel that we should have to pay the labor and work charges on a car we were still un able too drive . He would not release or car too us until we paid him over 1,500 dollar for a car he didn't fix , all this time my girlfriend sons are paying monthly paymenus on a car that they can't drive just so they can keep there credit in good standing .

A month went by and after numerous attempts of trying to get mark to answer so we can resolve this and get our car back , we found out he put a mechanics lean on the car so he was able to collect another 3,000 dollars plus the 1,500 he charged us to begin with . Our car was impounded, her kids credit that was perfect, now shows a repossession although they have never missed a payment ! And this crook walks away with 4,500 dollars ! Please steer clear of MARK MCKOWSKI ! He and his business are both thiefs And the scum of the earth !!!!
