Note: This is part of a letter I sent on May 9th to Market Labs legal department. I stated I wanted a response within 10 days because of their site time limit and surprise, have not received anything. So...

On April 13, 2006 I completed (and then some) the offers required for the free gift from www.PlasmaTV4Free.com. [at the time, the particpation terms were 8 offers and 1 unique household referral] My offers were approved April 25 and my referral's offers were approved April 26. I sent in my redemption form and it was received April 29 with a subsequent account approval on May 3. Now I'm disqualified???

I happened upon another site called Yourcoolfreestuff.com which apparently also falls under your company umbrella. I did an offer on here that I also did on plasmatv4free. I realized (too late) that that was a violation of your terms on yourcoolfreestuff. So, I accept disqualification on that site BUT am appalled that you disqualified me on the plasmatv4free site. I have reviewed the terms and conditions and the participation requirements and see that it states [paraphrased] if an offer is completed more than once you will only receive credit for the first completion. [end] That first completion of the Entertainment book was on the PlasmaTV4Free.com and therefore is valid.

There is no way the average consumer would know that these sites are run by the same company. And I use that term loosely as I just uncovered the fact that your street address belongs to Mailboxes, Etc. I believe this disqualification is a blatant attempt not to fulfill the plasma I rightfully earned and I'll tell you why

Plasmatv4free.com states it is a Market Labs, Web Central Incentive Rewards site with a Newark, DE address. Yourcoolfreestuff.com is listed as Direct to Consumer Interactive, Bulls-eye Media, with a Carlisle, PA address.

Now, I have dug a little deeper and see that even if one tries to find out if these sites are related they can't. There is a mess of over 100 sites and sub-sites hosted on these servers that misdirect the average user. Had I known the sites were from the same company I would not have attempted both at the same time. I have researched the IP addresses and related sites of plasmatv4free.com and yourcoolfreestuff.com and neither site appears on the other server's list. There is nothing linking these two sites that anyone can uncover and how you can justify the disqualification of my plasma site based on the yourcoolfreestuff site is beyond me.

(Note: Eventually I discovered that if you do a traceroute on both sites you will reach 66.249.16.130. This is the ONLY thing I can see that links these two sites and it took three hours of digging to find.) This reeks of a scam and is extremely shady. I don't understand the need to be so secretive about your sites if this is indeed a legitimate offer.

Who would know these companies are the same? No one.

I expect this account to be reinstated and for the plasma to be received within the original specified timeframe. Rest assured I will pursue this to the fullest extent.

Must Read Fine Print

I am aware that the practices of these companies seem shady and that the original report was filed 4years ago. However, I feel that I must defend what these companies do. I routinely complete offers for these sites within their restrictions and have been compensated with gifts such as gift cards, checks, free products on many occasions. I must say that you HAVE TO READ THE FINE PRINT. you need to print the Terms and Conditions and privacy policy. You must also print the policies of all the offers you sign up for.

Also, you shouldn't complete more than one program offer at a time. You can send these companies correspondence and ask if another offer company is affiliated with them. Again, I do not work for these companies but have made many a profit doing these offers and would suggest that you follow their terms. I love doing them and if you are going to complete an offer READ, READ, READ, and Print their fine print. I believe that the problem here is lack of understanding in the fine print and hurriedly trying to get the reward. Slow, down and READ and understand. That's the idea. They are a for profit company that makes their money, some of that they give you to in a reward, by advertising for other companies and receiving a commission each time you sign up or purchase something (trial offers, one time purchases). It's genius and I wish I had thought of it first.

Not the same company!

Ok, so now I find out plasmatv4free is owned by Market Labs and yourcoolfreestuff is owned by Bullseye Media. They are separate companies and both are equal scams. For the purpose of this dispute, note that Market Labs was previously I-deal direct (look them up on here) and they are now disqualifying people for no reason, working out of a UPS Store in Newark and not delivering people's items.

A little more info...

Apparently this company makes a practice out of soliciting people to sign up for sponsor offers by promising a free gift. They then do not send confirmation emails or redemption links, hardly reply to emails, and don't return phone calls or answer letters. There is practially no way to get a hold of them unless of course they email you to say your account expired and you're SOL.

In my case, I fully completed the offers according to their terms on the plasma4free site. Their terms plainly state you will receive credit for an offer once but yet they revoked mine. I was already approved and sent my form in, this is a blantant excuse to try and withhold my TV. Next I will be contacting the Bureau of Consumer Protection and hope to shut down their entire family of scam sites.
