I ordered some gemstones from this company. I returned my merchandise right away and followed all of their guidelines. They asked that I return the merchandise within 5 days of my call, even though their policy says 30 days. I asked them to confirm receipt, it took them weeks to reply. I called them and emailed them and sent letters to get my refund. They promised they would return my money each time I called, they apoligized for their error, someone was ill in customer service and they even said, oh my, you should of received your refund by now.

I finally got an attorney and received most of my funds back. The price was 179.99 and I received 143.00 back from them. I highly recommend that no one purchase from these people again. It is obvious to me that they do not operate ethically, or at least did not operate ethically with me. I also see all of the other postings.

To all of those people, I say get an attorney, it is worth it. I did not have to sue them, the attorney sent a letter and a few days later, I received my credit.

Good luck to all others and buyer beware of this company.

HOW ABOUT GETTING THE COMPANY NAME RIGHT!

lgJewelers is not lg-gems!

This person is not one of our customers!

LGJewelers.com is a Missouri company, and not an Alabama company!  We have a no BS policy concerning refunds, and always attempt to contact our customers in case of problems wioth an order.

They must be an lg-gems customer.  We have never had any dealing with this person.

Our site uses the same 3rd party cart system that the Marsh people use.  If fact I inherited the cart from a business deal with then and have found them to be a honorable.  I am a programmer and havedone several jobs for them over the years and they have had plenty of chances to rip me off if they were so inclined.

This sounds like they were charged a 15$ restocking fee after paying for the shipping.  That is a pretty common thing to do for some stores.

Most refunds are simple mistakes, so we don't do it, but it does help make up for the overhead.

I have no idea why it took them so long to get the refund taken care of.

Regardless, with the current Gold and Silver prices it's hard enough to stay in business and run a jewlery store and keep up a decent reputation without dumb mistakes like this.

How about "getting it right" before you go on a public "smear" campaign.

I don't know how much damage this has done our company.  Perhaps I should look into some compensation, myself.

I'd appreciate it if someone would pull our domain name from this report.  This is great.  Now were are mistakenly associated with a rip-off report.

Vindictiveness is so becoming.  At least they could have done their homework before slandering others.

HOW ABOUT GETTING THE COMPANY NAME RIGHT!

LGJEWELERS IS NOT LG-GEMS!  GET YOUR INFO RIGHT!

This person is not an lgjewelers.com customer, which is a Missouri company, not an Alabama company.  They must have had dealing with LGGems, in Alabama.  We use the same off-the-shelf cart systems, but are not the same people!

LGJewelers has a no BS refund policy.  We do not argure witht he customer or hold funds if we cannot fullfill thier orders and always get back to them whenever possible to confirm is they wish to back order something.  Once contacted we respond immediately and our company phone, email and address is easy to find on the site.

I did inherit the cart system from dealing with lg-gems people, in a business deal, and have always found them to be honorable, though, and suspect that there is more to the story, but I have no proof of that.  I have done a lot of programming work for them over the years, so there has been plenty of chances for them to rip me off, if they were so inclined.

Before undertaking a "Smear" campange they might check that they have their information correct.  I don't kow how much damage this has done my company and should probably look into compensation.  It's hard enough to work up a decent online reputation without someone making a stupid mistake like this!

Please remove my company domain name from this report, so I don't have to result to opening a lawsuit myself.
