I'm a doing a debt negotiation, instead of filing bankruptcy. Harrison Financial Inc, Encino, CA., are handling my account. They negotiated a settlement of $12,135.20 from the original amount of $15,169.01, inwhich Dang's office accepted.
At the same time the settlement was accepted, he had begun garnishing my wages. I sent paperwork to my payroll office, indicating the debt has been paid off, as of 06/29/2004.

Dang's office replied I still owed him $2,726.00. This has to be some type of violation.

Have You Contacted The Attorney General's Office?

AUTHOR: S.n. - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, July 29, 2004

Contact your state Attorney General's office. Provide them with copies of everything you have, including any agreements in writing. If they can't assist you they can tell you who can help. You might also contact your local District Attorney's office and ask if this is in violation of any laws.
