As I spelled out quite plainly in my last paragraph of my previous post, "I don't know anything about his feelings on race relations. I don't know anything about how he might have been to work for. I note that the posts above are full of spelling and grammatical errors that indicate to me people who are not any better educated than Mr. Reuther himself, and might have written in more haste and emotion than in considered honesty and concern for other people who might do business with Mr. Reuther. I wish I had seen this back when it was first posted, as the input of people who DIDN'T have any problems with Mr. Reuther and his company might have been helpful. But in case Mr. Reuther returns to the world of internet business anytime soon, I'd rather think "better late than never". Please note that no OTHER complaints were filed against the man or his company, and that even these complaints are not about his company's delivery on promises and goods. His teaching aids are easy-to-follow, thorough and will teach nearly anyone how to do more than "bend a paper clip". His products were not top of the line, but they were good for the prices he offered, and certainly good enough to make nice, sellable, wearable jewelry. His company delivered what it promised, at the price it promised, in a timely manner and all without damage or missing anything. If you're thinking about working for him, I'd advise you to meet the man, talk with him, and look over his company before you hire on. If you're thinking about buying from him, go for it. Regardless what inspired the previous complaints, it wasn't the failure of him or his company to do business properly with the customers, and it may or may not have been what these complaints claim."

For the record, I am not only NOT a card-carrying, sheet-wearing member of the KKK, but I am racially a mutt, with every color, nation and hemisphere in my bloodlines somewhere, and proud of it. I spoke up here because I am also a fairminded, factual, realistic person who knows a smear-job when she sees one, who had an experience with the subject which actually DOES cover the subject of whether or not a "ripoff" occurred, and felt all the unknowing people coming here might want to see something about the actual topic of ripoff, to base their decisions, not on the distaste aroused by the other posters' smear campaign about company/employee relations, but on the facts of customer/company dealings. I don't know the man, and if he's a racist jerk, I don't want to know the man, but I'd still do business with him if he offered what I needed at a price I could afford, because how he conducts his business with his employees is a matter for him and his employees to handle, perhaps with the law involved, but how he handles his customers is unrelated, and actually applies to me, a potential customer, as well as to this site, which is about "ripoffs", not about racist employment practices.

I know that this site has a "will not remove" policy, but allowing posts like this is irresponsible at best, morally corrupt and counterproductive at worst. None of these posts report any "ripoff". All of these posts refer to employer/employee relations and labor practices, not customer relations or product quality/delivery/honesty. These posts were put here by a very small handful of people, do not address the topic for which this site is intended, and have potential to do much slanderous harm against someone with no proof that such accusations are deserved, let alone have anything to do with "ripping off" the customer base. Then, when I post a polite, well-thought-out, calm and well-written rebuttal,  another poster insinuates the only reason I might have for "defending" Mr. Reuther is that I might be a bigoted member of the Ku Klux Klan myself! Is this how Ripoff Report does its reporting: Let random people slander people they used to work for, completely off the topic of "ripoff", and then attack other posters with similar slanderous insinuations? This damages a great deal of Ripoff Report's credibility, and in the future, I will be less inclined to take anything reported here seriously.

Madame, I assure you that after reading Ms Medleys rebuttal of Preston Reuther's slanderous words , It is clear that her education is indeed that of which she claims.... It is clear to me and others that the scapula from this site may have been the reason for the appearance of misspelled  words.

Now for the reason of my response.... I feel that  If you have come to the rescue of a racist man like Preston then perhaps Madame you too are an undercover sheet wearer. I am merely stating my dear, that you obviously do not know Preston Reuther. He is not just a racist to those of color, Preston is a racist of man kind. I am Caucasoid and an ex-friend of both Preston and his wife Mary. I can tell many Preston stories of deceit, racism, foul play, and law breaking ventures of Mr Reuther and his wife. Things that were soooo atrocious and evil that even he fell into the world of insanity, causing him to spend many years in an institution. He is now lives a life of delusion and paranoia and as a result has become quite violent, sadistic, brutal, and cruel, to everyone including his wife Mary. Sooo Madame, I assure you that you were not dealing with Preston at all. This I promise you. However, I am very glad that you and your new talent have done you well. It is always exciting to me to hear of any ones success.        

I recognize this is an old fight, and old information, but people researching Mr. Reuther right now Google his name and find the first two entries are an old one for his company that has now changed hands, and this site which offers nothing but vicious diatribe and little support or proof of these accusations. I'm here to offer another side of the story for anyone else who might be interested in Mr. Reuther's products or work.

I have been a customer of wire-sculpture.com since late 2006. An email from this company dropped into my inbox when I was searching for a way to make money without having to challenge failing muscles or get on disability, a way to start a business of my own and continue to be an independent and productive citizen. The email's frankness and plain-spoken language appealed to me, as did the idea of making jewelry for fun and profit. I had long had a dream of travelling the US, living in a van and exploring the country, but had never thought of a way I could support myself while doing so. This email sparked an idea of how to do this. So, I went to the site. I searched the site everywhere, and my impression by the end of two days' research of the site was that Mr. Reuther was just an ordinary guy with the same kinds of issues that most of us face at one time or another, probably not a great guy but not likely a jerk either, who had decided to use what skills he developed and what ideas he had to make his money teaching others how to do what he did, and provide them some of the tools and supplies to get started at a price most average folks might be able to afford. Trouble was, due to the muscular issues I was having, I was recently unemployed and wasn't sure I ought to spend what little money I had on his teaching materials or supplies, no matter how good it looked. I researched him on sites like this one and found not a peep of objection to his business practices. No one had complained up until this posting here, which led me to believe one got what one paid for when one took him up on his offer. So, I contacted him through his site, and explained my limited finances and said I'd just like to stay in touch in case anything changed for me. This businessman then did something unheard-of in my experience: he wrote me back and suggested that instead of doing business directly with him and his company, I look for his teaching materials via eBay, where I could get them much cheaper. Please understand that this meant he was giving his business away in my case. This stood to profit him nothing. Then he went on to share a couple of brief recountings of his own experiences as an early jewelry-maker and to encourage me in my dream of going on the road. This generousity impressed me enough that I decided to take it as a "good omen" and went ahead and ordered his teaching materials and startup kit with my next two unemployment checks. When they arrived, promptly as promised, in good shape, and containing everything the site promised would be contained in the package, I borrowed my neighbor's time and player to watch the VCR tape (this was right before everything went to DVD). The video was grainy and homey, Mr. Reuther's accent and natural discomfort with the camera trained on him were plain, but this was charming to me. No slick salesman, just a plain honest guy showing people what he does and how they can do it too. He made no effort to hide who he is or how he came to this way of life and he made no attempt to blindside his audience or dazzle anyone. He just showed what could be done with a bit of wire and a stone. And it fired me up. I went home and thought I'd go to sleep, but I couldn't sleep. I was so inspired by what I'd seen I just had to try it right then. So I did, and fifteen minutes later I held in my hands the first of many more to come: a stone wrapped up in shiny metal and suitable for a pendant. The next morning I took it around and showed it to friends and neighbors and strangers alike,. and everyone said: hang that on a chain or a cord and I'll buy it from you.

Well, fast forward a couple years later. Because I started with next to nothing for supply money, I of course didn't take right off. But I hadn't expected to. Nowhere in Mr. Reuther's information did he ever claim I'd be a rich woman in no time. In fact, he repeatedly made it clear that it took work, dedication and growing skills of various sorts, including salemanship and financial wisdom to even make it in that business. I knew it would take me awhile, so I just doggedly kept at it. I dreamed of a day when somehow I'd have the nearly a thousand dollars it would take to buy all of his teaching materials and the wonderful supplies and tools package that came with it, but even though I was employed again through those two years, there was never enough to do that. Fortunately, I am blessed with many friends, and one of them bought that package for me, and with it over the past year I have made so much progress in learning my techniques and developing my own style, and making more and more jewelry. I have sold close to a thousand dollars' worth of jewelry in the last year, and now I have been invited to showcase my work at an art gallery near where I live. This is an exclusive, upscale art gallery attached to a popular upscale restaurant and winery which is frequented by the middle and upper class people of my current hometown, and I didn't go asking to participate. I went to see if the owner might be interested in buying one of my pieces, because my current employer knows her and thought she'd be interested, and my work so impressed her, she invited me to show my work at one of their regular shows. I am finally on my way, and it all began with Mr. Reuther's down-to-earth honest approach to selling his teaching aids, his affordable prices for decent-quality products, and his personal encouragement.

I am Robyn, a professional. I am not accustomed to wasting my time on such frivolous matters; however, I do feel that everyone that has read this ridiculous article that a proven mental patient has used to exploit my professionalism with his mendacity and his paranoia. (All traits of a still mentally challenged individual) has the right to know What really happened with Robyn Medley and Preston Reuther.

I am not going to address every stupid issue, as that would make me as challenged as he is. But I will address his unscrupulous way of doing business which caused me to resign from his employment after only a few months of working for him. I feel that in order for everyone to understand the obtuse, and brainlessness of this individual, I must start from the beginning..

Mr. Reuther contacted me through My Telecommunications Company and asked that I come to Vicksburg MS. to address some technical issues he was having with his call center. I accepted his contract and went to Mississippi with ideas of improving his call center. When I arrived at the office. I met personally for the first time with Mr. Reuther. Immediately he went into his spill of how he was happy I was there to begin telemarketing his jewelry and jewelry making products. It was clear that this idiot thought that my telecommunication degree meant that I was an expert in telemarketing. I don't blame him for his ignorance but it opened my eyes immediately to the intelligence that I was dealing with or rather lack of, I was dealing with. After my numerous attempts to explain to Mr. Reuther where my expertise lied, we were finally on the same page. I restructured his call center (a call center of three) took me approximately 45 minutes. Mr. Reuther asked that I stay and manage these three (3) CSRs I was between contracts and so I accepted. I was not raised in the south so I was not familiar with the racism I was about to endure.

It is true, that Mr. Reuther had no inkling that I was black. Additionally, Mr. Reuther was a bigot, a racist unscrupulous bigot. After about one to two weeks of working for Mr. Reuther, it was clear that my intelligence intimidated not only him but the entire white staff as they hadn't been exposed to blacks with the education I bought with me. I was challenged in every aspect of my duties. This I could not take, and did not take. I hung in for approx. 90 days, and then I left. I watched how degrading this man was to his black employees, how he would come to the office with a feather up his rumpus and fire people for no reason. How he would come to me with made up lies and paranoid accusations on his hard working dedicated employees and tell me to fire them. He implemented a Will to Work rule, so that he didn't have to justify his reason for terminating single parents, students, and many financially handicapped black employees. I could take it anymore. I left his employment.

Oh, I want to address his allegations of my police record. Mr. Stupid, I was never arrested for stealing anything, ever. I was arrested 20 years ago, for a bad check, and had you researched, you would have found that it was not a company check it was a personal check written on MY own checking account which was issued by mistake to two people (Bank error) and I was cleared and that was that. Also, as for the checks that I was supposed to have stolen from you. You really give me far too much credit. These checks were (as you explained) checks from customers made out to Master Wire. Explain to me, what I could have done with checks made out to the company. Further example of a lack of intelligence and a heighten degree of a paranoia. Perhaps if your OLD senile wife was a better accountant, you would not need to blame others for her short comings.

Lastly, I would like to let everyone know. This guy and his company are BAD NEWS Run when you see him coming. He brings the wrath of hell with him. True proof that Satin has warriors just as God has angels. I'd also like to ask Mr. Reuther, whole heartedly, please please, please, get more mental help. The world is not yet ready, for another, racist, bigot, mental patient. Mr. Preston Reuther is a modern day Hitler.

I have an original copy of Mr. Prestons book..... which HE, himself emailed me in error, and it does in fact refer to black people as monkeys....Sad, very sad, my heart bleeds for such ignorance in the 2000's. Very sad, very very sad.

I can truly say that this is just one ugly mess. Preston and his wife are two people that prey on the innocent black poor people of Vicksburg that work hard and try to socially advance.

I worked for Master Wire Sculptor under the direction of Mrs. Medley (or whom ever she is) She and her family came a long way to work for the Reuthers at Master Wire Sculptor. She came with a great educational background and many ideals of improving the internet based company. She and her family were good Church going, God fearing people that did many good things for the poor black community of Vicksburg. This I know, only because it was I that introduced her family to my church family. They were very active in our church until the day they left Vicksburg.

I not being in management was not privy to allot of management documents, but I do know that Mrs. Medley did many things to help the employees. By Mrs. Medley being a Strong, very educated black woman she was immediately respected by all of us because the entire work force was young black individuals with families, we admired her and her Christian leadership.

As with most ex-employees of Master-Wire, Preston and his wife always slandered people only after the employee left the company. I see that this is an example of that being true. I found this personal attach on a woman that changed his company into a wonderful non racist profitable company to be Very disturbing. I know that both Preston and his wife have spent long spells (years) in several different mental institutions, it was only after Preston ugly attach on this individual and her family that I question his mental stability; perhaps more treatment for his paranoia is needed.

A few months back I had the opportunity to speak with the Medley family. Mrs. Medley is teaching small children in a Christian Church School in Maine. Doing quite well and still active in Church and the black community.

Again, I think the attach that Mr Reuther has placed on Mrs Medley is not warranted, It is not truthful, and I ask Mr. Reuther to please get additional mental health. I know for a fact that the credit cards he says were gained by Mrs Medley is a large false lie. I also know that in an effort to bypass payment they accused Mrs Medley of fraud. I also know that ALL Credit card payments were placed by Mrs Mary, Prestons wife or one of three other white employees. That type of authority was never given Mrs Medley. Also, above the mention of stolen checks... Again, unless the checks were written out and signed by one of the Reuthers, Mrs Medley didn't have them. This was noted by all the employees because we commented several times in emergencies and immediate cases checks were needed where the MANAGER (Mrs Medley) didn't have the same ability to pay as her white predecessor. When checks were needed immediately she would have to drive to the Reuthers home and pick up a check that was filled out and signed by one of the Ruethers and never a credit card. If a credit card purchase was needed, the credit card was given to either one of the three white employees to make the purchase(s).

I find this entire situation to be proof that racism is still very prevalent in 2007. Will we ever be able to just let it go. This is the Afro American hanging of the new millennium

I, My Church, each employee Black and white, Members of Vicksburg city council, Members of Vicksburg Architectural board and Im certain anyone else that had the pleasure of knowing the Medleys during their stay in Vicksburg will stand strong behind each of them and their moral integrity. It is sad that I can not say the same for Reuthers.

The complaint by Mrs Betty Derossette of Vicksburg Mississippi seems to be going on 3 years now. I would have thought Mrs Derosset would have a job by now, some type of job but I guess it has not happened yet. OK im only going to do this once but here is your complaint Mrs Derossette point by point.

#1 I feel it should be noted that the only association I have had with this lady -- Robyn Medley ---or Betty Derossette was that they were employed by me so basically they are both disgruntled employees. She nor --Robyn Medley--has never ever done any business or has ever purchased anything from myself or our company. They have never bought any of our jewelry making courses, dvds, tools, beads not one thing.

#2.The ridiculous quote about monkeys etc from Mrs Medley sounds like a desperate person trying to fabricate anything they can against a company that has filed charges against her for theft and fraud and as a result she is wonted for theft in excess of $40,000 in the state of Mississippi and possible others.

#3. I make it very clear who I am and what I do and I dont have to hide behind a fictious e mail nor a fictious name. The truth is the truth and it never has to be told from hiding in the darkness. Please make note that Mrs Robyn Medley or Mrs Betty Derossette use there correct name or any name. If you have a ligitamate complaint or problem with a person or company I don't think its necessary to hide.

#4. Yes Mrs Medley used another name a fictious name and why? She does not say does she? Why would anyone use a phony name to get a job, fill out a w-2 (federal crime) and other sensitive information? ____________ Let me tell you why!

#1. By not giving the right name she dont have to pay taxes!!

#2.Because she has about 8 aliases in 5 states and has an extensive arrest record. WARNING EMPLOYERS!! Always get a record check no matter who it is. If I had done that it would have saved our company thousands and thousands of dollars.

#3. She served prison time for theft from a company (checks) just like mine but in the state of Texas. Just do a background search for criminal record check for Robyn Medley and you can get the scoop.

#5. The book she refers to does not exist! Lets talk fact I write e books on jewelry making and have never published a book. Do a check on amazon.com or any other search engine and there are only e books.. ________The real truth is that I once wrote a fictions screen play which was stolen by Mrs Robyn Medley and embellished by her associate Mrs Derossette of Vicksburg Mississipi to make it sound as vile as it could be because they did not have the skills to stay with our company. In Mys Derossette's case in the marketing and advertising dept she could barely communicate.

This is why the rip off report removed the document they could figure out the document was added to and rewritten by Mrs Derossette and by Mrs Medley. Basically a stolen document embellished to the extent it no longer resembled anything that i wrote.

#6. The part about the good Christian woman was very humors. I dont know about you but where i come from Christian women that create new identities to obtain credit cards in the name of the company they work for (identiy theft) and then make charges into the thousands of dollars of goods dont exactly follow biblical principal.

And then just for the fun of it steal $40,000 of company checks and leaves town the same day. Well that don't sound like any church I would be interested in. BUT__ Robyn Medley or whatever name she is using now has been doing this all her life and goes from city to city stealing company checks. She now has not one but two cases pending against her in the state of Mississippi for theft and fraud.

#7. About the hiring of Robyn Medley. Yes we hired her and myself and my staff were very impressed with her she has some very good skills its a shame she uses them to con every company she works for. We hired her on the spot and gave her a starting manager salary of $40,000. Now you must realize that in New York or Chicago that may not be a lot of money but in Poor town Vicksburg MIssissippi thats the top 5% of the population!!-------------- Yes we paid her that much and she fooled us and im not ashamed to admit it it I was taken in with her charm and communication skills and we got duped and I guess that was not enough because seems there still trying extortion but this time on line.

#8. Then things really got interesting after "The Black Widow" got her feet in the door. She stole property, she stole money, she stole checks, she and her crime family attempted to extort $10,000 from our company by threating to burn our building down and everyone in it.

She and her crime family is now living outside Atlanta George and we are now gathering information of federal crimes she has committed across America at other businesses so if you or anyone you know have information about Mrs Robyn Medley a black female age app. 45, usually works in phone rooms, or call centers.
