We are legal counsel for Maurice Matte and M.J. Matte & Associates Inc. Our client commenced litigation with respect to Report #475873 in the British Columbia Supreme Court under action number 128865 in the court registry located in Kelowna, British Columbia.

The court found Report #475873 to be defamatory. On June 27, 2022, the court pronounced an order that rendered judgment in our clients’ favour and ordered the following injunction: “The defendants, Roger De Pellegrin and Barbara De Pellegrin, and other persons with knowledge of this Order, wherever they are located in the world, are restrained from publishing on the internet or in any other manner, statements directly or indirectly about the plaintiff, M.J. Matte & Associates and Maurice Matte, that are identical to or of similar effect as the publications contained in Schedule “A” attached to this Order.” The content of Report # 475873 is included in Schedule “A”.

Please take notice that M.J. Matte & Associates Inc. and Maurice Matte (“Plaintiffs”) have initiated an action in the Supreme Court of British Columbia, Canada, cause number KEL-S-S-128865 (“the Action”), due to allegedly false statements made by the author: — kelowna British Columbia. In the Action, Plaintiffs seek to subpoena the records of Xcentric Ventures, LLC for your identifying contact information to be sent to Rush Ihas Hardwick LLP at: 201 – 591 Bernard Avenue, Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada V1Y 6N9. Plaintiffs have served a Superior Court of Arizona Subpoena on Xcentric Ventures, LLC, the company that owns and operates this website, to reveal your identity. You may have a right to file and serve a response to the subpoena anonymously.
