i had received a call on my cell phone last week from an insurance company, i went back yesterday to call them back and the day I thought it was there was only olne out of state call received, so I selected the call and called it. To my surprise and ccnfusion a recorded voice said " congratulations caller #17, you are a winner. You have won a 2 day bahamma cruse. It repeated another time because I wanted to make sure what was said. A few seconds later a male came on the phone and said thank you for being a loyal Max97 listener, who am I talking to? I hesitantly said my first name. He said ok (my name) what is your last name. I said hold on here Im a bit confused, he said why is that, i told him i was trying to call on insurance company and the recording came on sayiing i was caller #17 and i was a winner of a cruise. He said really, well i guess this i is your lucky day. He then asked for my last name again, which once again I was hesitant to give hiim, still wondering what kind of scam this was. Before answering him i asked for some more information. I asked what the station was again and where it was from, where it was veing broadcast from. He told me they are based out of Los Angelos, but the station is in Chicago, IL. I went ahead and gave him my last name. He then told me about the cruise and  that entertainment and food is alll included, i would have to just pay $59 port fee's per person. He then asked me for my phone # and said the tickets would be saved under. He also told me I would go to the website MAX97.com to claim my tickets, and that  he would connect me to someone that would further tell me how to claim my tickets. After a pause another recording came on saying HI this is Mark Watson, station manager and you have won our 2 day bahama cruise, he stated the name of the  cruise line, but I dont recall it, and said its more than 2 football fields in length. He told me to get something to write with and that I was to go to the website edge97.com and click on the bahama cruise logo on the page to claim my tickets, that E D G E 97.com, click the logo and enter in my phone # and claim my tickets. Also that I had 18mo to use my tickets. So, dont wait go to the website now and cliam my tickets and the phone call ended. I went to Max97.com first and an internet radio site came up, i tried to go to edge97.com and it was some site not in the united states. there was a logo on the right side of the Max97.com page with the bahama cruise on it, i clicked it and it wanted a bunch of personal information and locked up my screen. RIP OFF for sure.
