McCalls Lawn Service WORSE than the typical "norm" in "professional" lawn services! Internet

With little doubt, in my opinion and extensive experience and history with "Lawn Care" professionals and services have been a nothing short of a bad joke. I've used Scotts,Tru-Green, Massey and General Spray Service. ALL of these in my residence in Ocala, FL.

In short and to all who have experienced any of the aforementioned have, with little doubt, experienced their collective "guarantees" about how they will re-treat to you're satisfaction, and so-on-and-so-forth...just as long as YOU continue to feed them money. In the end,we end up cancelling our collective non-contracts with these "professional services" recognizing our losses, licking our wounds and moving on. In my opnion, THIS is EXACTLY what these "professional services", when it comes to Florida lawn care at least, know what will eventually happen and thrive and survive on the money they've already stolen from you before you inevitably FIRE them. My opinion and experience shows that with EVERY one of them, THEY know there is only so much their sprays and chemicals will accomplish and failure, more often then not, is right around the corner.

But, never in my WILDEST dreams did I believe their was a more, in my opinion and EXPERIENCE, HIDEOUS example than the aforementioned than McCalls Lawn Service!

Although I knew in the end I'd be experiencing anything and everything I'd already been through with all the other lawn care "professionals" when I joined on with McCalls,still I hoped for the best...or better...and signed to their "guarantee." THIS lawn care debacle ended in a level SO infuriating in in EVERY sense, inconceivable in a business/customer relationship!

When my landscaping and particularity my lawns trend was going from bad to worse to decrepit and already experiences a discord to the highest level of customer non-support one could reach at McCalls, imagine my surprised when I was BLAMED of the following....

1) You are not a participant in our "sedge" (weed control) program.
            REBUTTAL: With the extraordinarily lengthy conversations, not to mention the sheer         QUANTITY of conversations that I had with McCalls and my assigned McCalls "professional" in regards to keeping my yard free of weed...I WAS NEVER OFFERED THE SO-CALLED "SEDGE PROGRAM!"

2) The out-of-control sedge problem was MY FAULT because I was pulling the sedge weed from the ground. I was told, "You should never pull "a certain" type of sedge."
              Rebuttal: Funny McCalls! Referring to the above rebuttal and my long and drawn out conversations with my McCalls Lawn Care "Specialist" and speaking coninously of my problem with the different types of sedge and me spending HOURS pulling the sedge...NOT ONCE DID THE LAWN CARE SPECIALIST MENTION A SINGLE WORD ABOUT...NOT PULLING SEDGE!!!

3) Now "Mr and Mrs McCalls!" Ya' wanna talk about my so-called assigned  "lawn care specialist", that so-called "specialist" and his relationship with my neighbor? Come to find out...do ya' wanna talk about the McCalls so-called "specialist" and how he was TALKING TRASH about ME to my neighbor! Per my neighbors own words!
                Rebuttal: Yeah! You SURE got rid of him as MY so-called specialist when presented THOSE facts...didn't you "Mr. & Mrs McCalls?!?!?"

Yeah, in the end there was an offer to come out and see kinda' thing by some regional muck-itty-muck...the next day...who never showed up. (He may have EVENTUALLY showed up but I never talked to anyone) By than I was SO done with McCalls. There were other follow up calls by some representative and several more heated arguments about McCalls methodology but in-the-end, I knew the battle was nothing short of futile. And OF COURSE since I refused to pay a single dime more to these OH-so-typical, in my opinion, the WORST of the worst of lawn services...I got turned into some collections harassment kinda' thing! (Boy did they get a call from my attorney!)

In the end folks, and in my now humblest of opinions and EXTENSIVELY documented experience, save your hard earned money when it comes to a consideration about ANY level of lawn care and ESPECIALLY when it comes to McCalls!
