Terrible experienceall around. We spent over $10k with McGlinch and Sons on a new roof for our home, and really got a lousy job. The company has been doing business in the Detroit area for years, so we figured they were reliable and honest. We were wrong.
The crew they sent were unprofessional, and seemed more like day laborers than professional roofers. Their work was very sloppy, leaving pounds and pounds of nails and shingles inside and outside our house. Our kids are still finding roofing nails in our yard.
Within a few months, the brand new roof started leaking like a sieve. It turns out these 'expert' roofers left gaping holes around our chimney. The McGlinch Team was flat out unresponsive after several calls. Eventually, they just did a lot of finger pointing, but nothing to solve the problem they created for us. We were forced to hire another roofer to fix what they broke. Disappointed, to say the least.
