McMahon RV neglected to give information about "finding a lender to approve our loan and will not give our deposit back. Westminster California

 On 3/4/2014 my husband and I went in to McMahon RV to look at their stock, we found a fifth wheel that was to our liking and decided to see if we could finance it.

After some number crunching it was told to us that we could have it and that in fact it was going to be discounted so they could make sure we would qualify for financing. We signed the agreement that gave a total purchase amount and monthly payment amount and finance charges and APR then handed over my credit card (like a dummy) and  gave a $500.00 deposit, they wanted $2000 but I didn't bring the right credit card for that. When we went to see the gentelman in financing Zach he gave us a date to come back and do the walk through and any paperwork we were lacking at the time and that was for 3/10/2014 at 12:00 pm. I didnt want to wait to get additional paperwork to Zach so I scanned over what was requested.

On the morning of the 10th I got a call from Rick saying they needed to "order a part" and we should wait for them to call us before we make the trip to pick it up then 20 minutes later the finance guy Zach says they need more paperwork to see if they can get a loan approved. I was taken off gaurd and had to think about what he just said and called him back and asked why are they just now seeking approval for a loan that should have alredy been settled days ago?

After days of numerous phone calls and cussing and yelling it is now 3/12/2014 and we have yet to get a lender and can't get our $500.00 deposit back. I was told that we have a signed contract and we can't go back on it until they find a lender. I'm sure they have ran our credit through the dirt and back trying to find a loan and I was just getting on track to a better credit score. I just want the deposit back and the nightmare to be over.
