This has been done before. I applied for a loan via loanunion.net { Be aware of that site } and I got an e-mail saying I was approved for a loan. And all I need to do, since my credit isn't all that good is send the first 6 months payments. Don't do it... they will take your money and you won't get yours and you are out of 6 months of payment. Ask them questions about the loans and report them to the BBB or local authorities. Since the economy is down, people are scaming people looking to make a change and they are hitting people hard. Beware of first payments upfront.......
