These folks tell you how great and easy it is to get coverage. Sent my annual premium - $4,060.00. Mega cashed my check, but 3 weeks and NO Benefits!
repeated requests for medical records.....some from doctors I've never heard of.

I've cancelled my contract...we'll see if the money comes back!

POSTED: Wednesday, April 12, 2006

I am an Employee of Mega Life and Health. It is often common for the Underwritting Process to take 3-4 Weeks on Average. If the Individual has an extensive medical history this process can take even longer and any Dr. that has made pathology reports, seen the patient in the ER or Hospital may also be contacted.

Besides, Do we all remember the names of every Dr. we have ever seen?

Furthermore, Customers are also informed of this process, and sign a document stating that they understand that thier coverage does not start the day the payment is made but when and if they are approved by the underwritters and then they accept thier policy. In addition, by LAW each client then has a ten day free look period to accept or decline their policy. If they are declined by the underwritters for ANY reason OR if they themselves decide to not accept the policy 100% of thier money is refunded, even the one time administration fee.

It sounds like this guy was simply impatient and obviously got his money back or he would have posted that comment as well.
