Beware of West Direct, Inc. as well as MWI. In the process of recovering my money, I learned that MWI got my credit card number from West Direct, Inc. I tried to make a telephone order from West and as a result, MWI ended up with my credit card number. West never did deliver the product and the order was eventually cancelled.
On MWI's website, I found other interesting information. In their financial statements:
"Membership programs sponsored by the Company's two
largest clients, Citibank and its affliates and West
Corporation, accounted for 21% and 16% of revenue,
respectively, for the fiscal year ended June 30,2003."
The aforementioned West Direct, Inc. is a subsidiary of West Corporation. West Corporation has also been included in some of the lawsuits filed against MWI.
MWI also states their client partners include 8 of the top 10 credit card issuers- which surely includes the aforementioned Citibank.
