 We purchased 2 Merantec garage door openers and had them installed by a qualified specialist company which cost upwards around $900. 9 months later the one motor burnt up and the carriage assembly on the other unit. Merantec replaced the items and we had to pay shipping. We were told by Merantec service woman (Nicole)" We will take care of everything" Now we are faced with a $450 invoice Bill from the garage door company for the defective motor replacement and the carriage assembly still hasnt been installed. Merantec service department "Nicole" tells us "we dont cover reinstallation. We didn't ask for defective products but are now expected to pay twice for installment. Not happy
