We Are Telling The Truth

There is no evidence given by the author to contradict the rebuttal we have filed. There most likely was an error with the credit card company that is being inaccurately attributed to MerchantCircle.
We process all cancellation requests in a timely manner and provide substantial information to our clients with regard to the services they purchase and the charges that are incurred. This is typical of all reputable businesses wishing to retain customer loyalty.
We offer refunds in the case of mistaken billing, but the complaint we receive most frequently comes from customers who have forgotten about our auto-renewal policy and are being billed in accordance with our Terms of Service. We will cancel the auto-renewal when it is requested, but cannot assume responsibility for the user forgetting the terms of our service.
The link that was provided includes all of the necessary information for customers to make an informed decision. We are proud of the service that we offer and will work to resolve any issue, billing or otherwise, as soon as possible.

False Information
AUTHOR: MerchantCircle - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, October 04, 2012
This report is entirely false. Our customer support division processes cancellation requests as quickly as they are received.
Many of our services are billed monthly and are classified as "auto renewal" products which need to be explicitly cancelled by interacting with our support staff in order for the charges to be removed. In the case of this reviewer the most likely scenario is that the individual forgot to cancel a recurring charge and was disappointed with the costs that were incurred as a result.
We are very happy to end the service of clients who are not 100% satisfied with the products that we offer, but do not take responsibility for a client not being aware of the nature of recurring charges. Information about the auto-renewal policy is available in our terms of service and can be accessed here: http://merchantcircle.desk.com/customer/portal/articles/269054.
While we are continually striving to improve the customer experience that we offer to people on MerchantCircle, we simply cannot accept the kind of responsibility for user error that is indicated in this post. We are very happy to work with clients over all billing disagreements, and are dedicated to making the user experience error-free.
